Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Site Reliability Engineer responsible for building and operating reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure supporting SaaS applications and Autodesk products.

What you'll do

• Architect and implement hosting solutions for dynamic SaaS web applications.
• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions for global environments.
• Implement infrastructure and application security practices, including system hardening and least privilege.
• Define and monitor SLOs and SLIs and manage error budgets.
• Automate operational processes and integrate technologies to improve reliability and scalability.
• Participate in on-call support, incident management, and blameless post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with development, quality assurance, documentation, and other stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role supporting cloud applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Advanced hands-on Linux administration experience.
• Expert knowledge of AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, ELB, S3, IAM, VPC, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices.
• Experience designing highly available distributed cloud-native systems.
• Experience with SRE practices, infrastructure automation at scale, cloud security, and globally distributed engineering teams.
