Site Reliability Engineer I

Overview

Support the availability, performance, and reliability of production systems as a Site Reliability Engineer I. Assist with monitoring, incident response, automation, and infrastructure improvements under senior-engineer guidance.

What you'll do

• Monitor production systems and respond to alerts.
• Troubleshoot system issues under supervision.
• Support incident response, documentation, and post-mortem analysis.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools.
• Apply infrastructure management, reliability, and observability practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams.
• Participate in supervised on-call rotations and document operational processes.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or entry-level SRE roles.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools.
• Basic scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Understanding of networking, system performance, and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
