Software Cloud Developer

Overview

Software Cloud Developer role focused on designing and delivering cloud application features and modules for HPE’s hybrid cloud platform (GreenLake). You will build, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and collaborate on cloud engagements.

What you'll do

• Design simple to moderate cloud application features as per specifications.
• Develop and maintain cloud application modules while adhering to security policies.
• Design test plans, develop, execute, and automate test cases for assigned code.
• Deploy code and troubleshoot issues in application modules and deployment environments.
• Share and review technical ideas with peers, technical contributors, technical writers, and managers.
• Analyze data processing problems and implement solutions for complex application/system/network concerns.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Typically 2-5 years’ experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud-native applications, developer tools, managed services, and next-generation databases.
• Ability to communicate well in written and verbal formats.
• Understanding of DevOps practices such as continuous integration/deployment and orchestration with Kubernetes.
