Platform Engineer – CI/CD Infrastructure

Overview

Senior Platform Engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating CI/CD, distributed systems, and storage infrastructure at scale. The role focuses on hands-on development, automation, modernization, and reliability for systems supporting thousands of daily pipelines.

What you'll do

• Build, operate, and scale Jenkins and Tekton CI/CD infrastructure.
• Manage plugin infrastructure and lifecycle processes.
• Develop Java and Spring Boot microservices for CI/CD orchestration.
• Design distributed systems that improve pipeline scalability and reliability.
• Manage file systems and storage for artifacts, caching, logs, and pipeline data.
• Implement telemetry, monitoring, observability, and operational dashboards.
• Drive automation, modernization, and standardization across environments.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of industry experience with a Java backend technology stack.
• Strong experience operating Jenkins at scale, including masters, agents, plugins, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Tekton or cloud-native pipeline orchestration.
• Experience developing Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Background in distributed systems design and distributed computing.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native infrastructure, storage architectures, and artifact storage.
• Strong automation, scripting, debugging, observability, and reliability engineering skills.
