Developer - SRE ( Digital Archiving )

Overview

Site Reliability Engineer (Developer - SRE) to ensure the operational availability, reliability, scalability, and security of a digital archiving solution (AIRINA).

What you'll do

• Ensure operational availability and reliability of the Digital Archive systems.
• Optimize resource utilization and support application performance and correct functioning.
• Lead troubleshooting, perform root-cause analysis, and define resolutions.
• Automate system administration tasks to simplify day-to-day operations.
• Build and maintain monitoring and self-healing solutions to improve resilience.
• Coordinate collaboration between development, system, and external teams (infrastructure operations and security).

What you'll need

• Engineering graduate or post-graduate with 3–5 years of experience developing and delivering IT solutions.
• At least 2–3 years of experience designing and building complex IT systems.
• Degree (or equivalent) in IT, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Solid experience in software development processes and system architectures.
• Experience with DevSecOps concepts and working with agile delivery and operation teams.
• Experience with automated configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with logging & event management tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, or Zabbix.
