Overview
Senior Cloud Architect to define the technical foundation and architecture of a next-generation, secure, scalable, resilient multi-tenant cloud platform.
What you'll do
- Define cloud and platform architecture for a secure, scalable, resilient multi-tenant platform supporting multiple products.
- Design distributed systems patterns including service boundaries, event-driven interactions, and failure recovery.
- Shape data architecture and modeling across relational, NoSQL, graph, and distributed data systems.
- Develop knowledge and semantic architecture (knowledge graphs, ontologies, domain models, and semantic models).
- Build foundational platform components, critical modules, prototypes, and reference implementations (up to 50% hands-on).
- Establish architecture standards and guide technical decisions across software, APIs, data, infrastructure, security, and platform engineering.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to translate business needs into architecture and long-term investments.
What you'll need
- 15+ years of experience designing/building enterprise software, SaaS products, or large-scale cloud platforms.
- Strong software engineering background with recent hands-on production software and platform component experience.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems (microservices, event-driven architectures, scalability, resiliency, consistency models, fault tolerance).
- Strong expertise in data architecture/modeling across relational, NoSQL, graph, and distributed data technologies.
- Experience designing knowledge graphs and semantic models/ontologies/graph-based architectures for complex domains.
- Deep experience designing and operating multi-tenant, cloud-native platforms on AWS.
- Experience with platform APIs, Kubernetes/EKS, containers, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevSecOps practices.
