GCP Architect - Director

Overview

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform solutions and software engineering initiatives. Set strategic direction, guide business development, manage executive client relationships, and oversee multiple architecture programs.

What you'll do

• Design and implement cloud solutions using GCP architecture.
• Lead enterprise-scale cloud architecture programs and software engineering projects.
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic guidance on cloud engineering, data, and analytics.
• Develop scalable applications using Java, Python, and C++.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and promote ATDD practices.
• Architect integrations, microservices, serverless, distributed, and event-driven systems.
• Drive executive-level architectural decisions and mentor leaders.

What you'll need

• At least 17 years of experience in IT architecture or software engineering.
• At least 10 years of hands-on GCP architecture design and implementation experience.
• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• Expertise in GCP architecture, Terraform, cloud governance, security, and FinOps.
• Experience with multi-project landing zones and complex cross-service integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Vertex AI, Gemini, RAG pipelines, and Vector Search.
• Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and executive client-relations skills.

Nice to have

• Education in artificial intelligence, business analytics, computer science, engineering, information technology, machine learning, or software engineering.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and practices.
