Sr. Principal Engineer – Azure Cloud, Integrations & Platforms

Overview

Lead the architecture, development, ownership, and technical governance of Azure cloud integration platforms and services across enterprise systems.

What you'll do

• Lead design, development, configuration, and maintenance of Azure integration platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance as the integration design authority.
• Oversee project delivery and vendor-led scrum teams.
• Architect integrations using API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, Logic Apps, and monitoring services.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions with Product Management and stakeholders.
• Implement automation, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineering teams and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise developing APIs and integration services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud microservices architectures and Azure services.
• Experience with C# and/or Java using Azure Functions.
• Experience designing scalable API services and working with API Management platforms.
• Experience integrating SaaS, enterprise, and EDI applications.
• Experience with ITMS controls, security, compliance, leadership, and vendor management.

Nice to have

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate certification.
• Experience in Pharma, Healthcare, or Life Sciences.
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI-powered CRM enhancements and automation tools.
