What you'll do

• Shape research strategy across the Electrification technology domain.
• Architect solutions across complex electrical grid systems from generation to load.
• Own the organization’s most difficult technical challenges in power systems.
• Convert innovation into strategies and deliver solutions to complex, ambiguous problems.
• Align leaders and stakeholders on major technical opportunities using networks.
• Adapt GenAI tools to improve the quality and depth of scientific output and validate AI-assisted results.

What you'll need

• Have a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) plus 15 years experience.
• OR have a Master’s in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) plus 18 years experience.
• Demonstrate mastery in power system operations, controls, protection, and grid dynamics.
• Scale lab-scale developments (hardware-in-the-loop, PSCAD, Matlab/Simulink) to field implementation.
• Lead large research programs and write successful R&D proposals.
• Take concepts to product introduction.
