Site Reliability Engineer I

Overview

Site Reliability Engineer I in PAR’s global Cloud Centre of Excellence, focused on maintaining and improving the reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence of PAR cloud platforms and SaaS services.

What you'll do

• Monitor and support reliability, performance, and scalability of cloud platforms and SaaS services.
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability solutions.
• Track SLIs, SLOs, and reliability metrics.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, escalation, and service restoration.
• Perform root cause analysis and blameless postmortems for continuous improvement.
• Develop automation scripts to reduce manual effort and operational toil.
• Support Kubernetes operations and containerized application deployments.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience supporting cloud-native applications and infrastructure in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to support production applications in a highly available environment (SaaS environment a plus).
• Hands-on Linux systems administration with exposure to Windows systems administration.
• Experience with observability/monitoring platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Scripting/automation experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell, NodeJS, or similar languages.
• Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform.

• Position location: India — Gurugram or Jaipur (Hybrid).
• Supports 24x7 operations with rotational coverage and possible on-call/after-hours support.
