Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Observability & Platform Systems

Overview

Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own observability strategy and critical platform services, engineering reliability, performance, and security.

What you'll do

• Architect, maintain, and optimize an end-to-end observability platform using Grafana, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch.
• Operate and engineer critical systems including MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, HashiCorp Vault, and WSO2 API Manager.
• Lead L3 support and Major Incident Management from detection through post-mortem.
• Build self-healing and automated recovery workflows using Python and Bash.
• Define and track reliability objectives (SLIs/SLOs) and manage error budgets.
• Identify potential failure modes and implement improvements to prevent outages.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Proven expertise in Grafana and the Prometheus ecosystem.
• Experience defining and operating SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and availability targets.
• Deep operational experience with statefulset applications in Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Track record owning the full Incident Management lifecycle, including root cause analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and tooling.
• Exceptional analytical skills to work independently on ambiguous technical challenges.
