SME, FP&A (Balance Sheet, Cash & Payroll Accounting)

Overview

Join CrowdStrike's India FP&A Operations Shared Services Center to support balance sheet, cash flow, and payroll forecasting, providing critical decision support to leaders across the organization.

What you'll do

• Work closely with FP&A and Accounting to ensure quality and timeliness of the monthly financial close and reporting
• Support monthly balance sheet and cash flow statement forecast, with focus on payroll forecast, and also prepaid, accrued expense, and Capex
• Support the global payroll cash forecast for wages, bonus, commissions, payroll taxes, equity taxes, benefits, pension, and 401k, partnering with Accounting and Payroll Operations to understand payroll transactions and accurately forecast payment timing
• Support variance analyses, including actual vs. forecast and current forecast vs. prior forecast
• Assist with weekly cash forecast, focusing on AP and Payroll forecast update
• Leverage system capabilities like Adaptive Planning where possible for forecasting and reporting

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8+ years' experience in Accounting/Finance, including financial modeling and variance analysis between forecast and actual
• Thorough understanding of Accounting/Finance concepts, especially balance sheet and statement of cash flow
• Background in payroll processing/payroll accounting
• Strong attention to detail, with the highest levels of consistency and accuracy in work
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience working within a SSC supporting a publicly traded multi-national company, preferably a hyper-growth company
• Prior SaaS industry experience
• Prior experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Coupa, Snowflake, Tableau or ServiceNow

• Location: Pune, India
• Shift time: 5:00pm to 2:00am IST
• In-office at least three days per week at the Pune office
• Reports to the Senior Manager, FP&A Operations - Finance Shared Services, with indirect reporting to FP&A Operations leadership based in the US
