Snowflake + Cortex - Associate

Overview

Support data engineering work that transforms raw data into usable insights for clients, helping design and build data pipelines, integrations, and transformation solutions within the Data and Analytics Engineering practice at PwC Acceleration Center India.

What you'll do

• Build Snowflake and Cortex data solutions that support client analytics and data modernization needs
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, transformation logic, and integration workflows across cloud-based environments
• Write and tune SQL queries to improve data loading, retrieval, and performance across data platforms
• Support data modeling, validation, and documentation activities for warehouse and lakehouse structures
• Assist with orchestration using Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or DAG-based scheduling tools
• Apply data quality checks and troubleshoot data issues across ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers
• Collaborate with team members to translate business requirements into technical data engineering tasks
• Use AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake features to support scalable and secure data processing
• Learn new tools and methods quickly, take ownership of assigned work, and deliver dependable results

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
• Coursework or projects in Snowflake data modeling
• Application of Snowflake Cortex concepts through academic or project-based work
• Use of SQL, Python, or data pipeline tools in learning environments
• Gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources with curiosity
• Communicating ideas clearly while adapting to team feedback
