Snowflake + Cortex - Associate

Overview

Snowflake + Cortex Associate supporting data engineering work that turns raw data into usable insights through cloud-based data pipelines, data integration, and transformation solutions within the Data and Analytics Engineering practice at PwC's Acceleration Center India.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain data pipelines that move, transform, and validate information across cloud-based platforms
• Develop Snowflake and Cortex solutions that support data processing, transformation, and analytics use cases
• Support data integration efforts by connecting source systems, refining mappings, and troubleshooting pipeline issues
• Write and maintain SQL logic, transformation code, and workflow steps used in data engineering delivery
• Assist with data modeling activities that organize warehouse structures for reporting and downstream analytics
• Monitor pipeline runs and data loads to identify defects, performance issues, and data quality gaps
• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements, clarify tasks, and adapt delivery approach across varied client needs
• Apply knowledge of cloud data tools such as Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Apache Airflow in project work

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
• Demonstrating coursework in data engineering, cloud platforms, or analytics tools
• Applying Snowflake, Cortex, or similar data platform skills
• Using AWS, Azure, or Databricks in academic or internship settings
• Gathering data from sources and identifying patterns
• Communicating ideas clearly and asking thoughtful questions
