Snowflake+Cortex+Data Quality & Governance - Senior Associate

Overview

Senior Associate in PwC's Acceleration Center India within the Data and Analytics Engineering practice, designing and building Snowflake and Cortex-based data infrastructure, pipelines and governance solutions for client data modernization.

What you'll do

• Design and build Snowflake and Cortex-based data solutions that support client data modernization efforts
• Develop data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation logic to move data across cloud environments
• Apply data quality controls, validation checks, and governance procedures across curated datasets
• Analyze complex data engineering issues and translate findings into practical recommendations for client teams
• Use Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, and Databricks to automate orchestration and data movement activities
• Support data modeling, warehouse design, and performance tuning for scalable analytics platforms
• Review technical deliverables from junior team members and provide guidance on methods and output quality
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand data architecture needs, business context, and delivery priorities

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 5+ years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
• Demonstrating Snowflake data quality and governance project delivery
• Applying Cortex capabilities within data engineering solutions
• Utilizing data validation, data quality, and data warehouse optimization
• Interpreting data to shape governance insights and recommendations
• Collaborating across teams while navigating ambiguity and complexity
