Software Developer

About the role

We're looking for a Software Developer to join our client's engineering team in Bengaluru. You'll work on full-stack applications, building responsive frontends with React.js and robust backends with Python, while gaining hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js and modern JavaScript
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python
• Design and optimize database schemas for application needs
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, S3, and RDS
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering practices

What we're looking for

• 1–4 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in React.js and Python
• Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Docker
• Ability to write clean, testable code and debug issues effectively
• Comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating with teammates

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Understanding of system design principles
