Software Development Engineer -3 (Mobile)

Overview

Software Development Engineer III (Mobile) to design, develop, and optimize high-performance mobile experiences using React Native for Quince customers.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance React Native mobile applications.
• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable components using modern best practices.
• Drive performance and optimization for rendering, startup time, memory, responsiveness, and stability.
• Work with React Native internals and architecture, including FlashList, Reanimated, Gesture Handler, and Expo.
• Develop test cases, debug production/development issues, and improve release quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Backend to deliver scalable mobile solutions.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and help raise engineering standards.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of professional experience in software, frontend, or mobile engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building production React Native applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with React Native fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience optimizing React Native apps (render cycles, re-renders, memory, responsiveness).
• Experience troubleshooting complex React Native issues across JavaScript and native layers.
• Experience with modern React Native libraries: FlashList, React Native Reanimated, React Native Gesture Handler, and Expo.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android fundamentals and platform-specific issue investigation.
