Software Development Engineer

Overview

Design, document, and test embedded software for safety-critical highway applications.

What you'll do

• Design and develop software test plans and test embedded code.
• Document testing activities.
• Prepare documentation according to APQP standards.
• Develop, perform, and document system test cases.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to develop quotes and new products.
• Interface with customers.

What you'll need

• Minimum 4-5 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C.
• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Debugger usage and emulation tools experience.
• Ability to develop embedded solutions for prototyping and concept demonstration.
• Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree.

Nice to have

• Automotive embedded software and CAN experience.
• Visual Studio experience.
• Automotive Cyber Security per ISO21434 handling.
• UDS implementation and CAN analyzer hands-on experience.
• Boot loader experience.
• FUSA knowledge and implementation experience.
• Project experience with ISO21434-related code implementation.
