Job description
Overview
Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) focused on building and improving manual and automated testing across multiple levels, including UI and API.
What you'll do
- Analyze requirements to create test strategies and detailed test cases.
- Design and implement manual and automated tests across the test pyramid.
- Develop scalable automated test frameworks for feature testing and AI-driven workflows.
- Build and maintain UI and API test automation using Selenium, pytest, and Playwright.
- Run performance and load testing to validate scalability.
- Report regressions and provide design/testability feedback with an agile team.
What you'll need
- 4+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or equivalent.
- BS/BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript for test automation.
- Practical experience with pytest, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Must have experience with Git and CI/CD systems.
- Bash required and familiarity with Unix/Linux/Mac OS development environments.
- Experience with UI/API/component/unit test automation frameworks.
