Solutions Integration Engineer II

Overview

Lead enterprise B2B integration projects for strategic customers using Samsara APIs, webhooks, connectors, and related IoT platform technologies. Partner with customer and internal teams to design, deliver, troubleshoot, and improve scalable integration solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead system integration projects with customers, partners, and systems integrators.
• Design technical specifications, business requirements, and integration architectures.
• Build, test, validate, and review code for scalable integration solutions.
• Develop solutions for real-time streaming, event subscriptions, and batch processing.
• Advise teams on integration best practices and API usage.
• Manage complex projects, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with product, developer ecosystem, sales, support, and systems engineering teams.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years designing and developing integration solutions.
• At least 3 years developing solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to write, read, and understand Python plus one additional programming language.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and modern databases.
• Experience with LLM-based tools and agentic workflows.
• Experience managing complex projects and multiple customer engagements.
• Proficiency with GitHub and modern Agile tools such as Jira or Confluence.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of customer-facing enterprise integration or API scripting experience.
• Knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau, SQL, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with B2B integrations, fleets, logistics, or vehicle diagnostic systems.

Details

• Remote position for candidates residing in the United States, excluding specified metro areas.
• Annual base salary: $73,780–$111,600 USD.
