Lead Integration Engineer

Overview

Lead Integration Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Workday and third-party enterprise system integrations, plus leading related integration projects and reporting/audit work.

What you'll do

• Lead research, design, development, testing, and delivery of Workday and third-party system integrations.
• Create technical specs and perform unit and system integration testing, deployment, and support.
• Configure and develop integrations using Workday tools and middleware capabilities.
• Monitor inbound/outbound data integrations, system health, scheduled jobs, alerts, and notifications.
• Manage integration analysis, system configurations, and deployment to production.
• Manage integration testing for Workday semi-yearly release reviews and testing.
• Serve as a Workday reporting authority and translate requirements into reporting solutions.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of Workday experience in Finance, HCM, or Student experience, including report writing and integrations.
• Experience with highly complex integrations, preferably between Finance, Payroll, Admissions, Registration, Advancement, and Academic Administration using Workday tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Workday Studio development.
• Strong working knowledge of Workday EIB, RaaS, and Web Services.
• Strong working knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML and XSLT, and Java.
• Workday integrations experience with understanding of integration design and testing concepts and frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Details

• Work mode: US Remote.
• Some occasional travel to Workday training and the Workday Rising Conference.
• May require occasional evening and/or weekend work.
• On-campus work preferred; remote and hybrid arrangements considered upon request.
