Integration Engineer

Overview

The DEVone Integration Engineer builds code examples, proof-of-concept integrations, and tools that help partners integrate with the CXone platform. The role combines hands-on integration engineering, technical guidance, troubleshooting, and partner collaboration.

What you'll do

• Document integration patterns and communicate technical guidance to partners.
• Build sample applications and proof-of-concept integrations.
• Troubleshoot partner integration challenges.
• Translate partner feedback into problem statements for Product and Engineering teams.
• Maintain integration examples and internal partner-onboarding tools.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#/.NET.
• Experience building RESTful API integrations, including authentication and error handling.
• Understanding of HTTP, WebSocket, JSON, and OAuth.
• Strong debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with external partners, customers, or developer communities in a technical capacity.

Nice to have

• Experience with contact center technologies, network and telephony, or real-time communication protocols.
• Experience building sample applications, proof-of-concept integrations, or developer documentation.
• Experience with SaaS integrations, AI/ML integration patterns, AWS, CI/CD, Docker, SQL, or NoSQL databases.
