Solutions Integration Engineer III

Overview

Lead customer-facing B2B integration projects for Samsara's IoT platform, from requirements and architecture through delivery, testing, and support.

What you'll do

• Lead system integration projects with customer teams, partners, and third-party integrators.
• Design and develop scalable solutions using APIs, webhooks, connectors, and related technologies.
• Define project scopes, technical specifications, and business requirements.
• Build integration architectures for real-time streaming, event subscriptions, and batch processing.
• Build, test, validate, and review code for quality and completeness.
• Advise stakeholders on integration best practices and advocate for customer-focused fixes.
• Collaborate with product and developer ecosystem teams to improve API features and experience.

What you'll need

• 5+ years designing and developing integration solutions using architecture methodologies.
• Ability to code in Python and one additional programming language.
• Proficiency with LLM-based tools for code generation, prompt engineering, and automation.
• Experience designing, orchestrating, and deploying multi-agent systems.
• 3+ years developing solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and modern databases.
• Experience managing complex projects and multiple customer engagements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau, SQL, and data visualization.
• Experience building enterprise-scale integrations or API scripts in customer-facing roles.
• Familiarity with B2B integration projects, fleets, logistics, or vehicle diagnostic systems.

Details

• Remote position open to candidates residing in the United States, subject to listed geographic exclusions.
• Annual base salary: USD 87,465–117,600.
