Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer responsible for developing and sustaining C++, Qt, and QML software for medical device products on embedded Linux platforms.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain software features and platform components.
• Translate product requirements into user stories, software tasks, and implementation plans.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, interface definition, and technical decisions.
• Debug complex issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Support unit testing, integration testing, automation, static analysis, and performance improvement.
• Collaborate with verification, systems, hardware, product, and program teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, security, documentation, and process requirements.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM, such as Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with C++, Qt, QML, and object-oriented design on embedded Linux.
• Experience with Agile development, SDLC, CI/CD, version control, code reviews, and defect management.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with complex codebases.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.

Nice to have

• Medical device or regulated product development experience.
• Experience with testing, static analysis, performance profiling, and software quality practices.
• Exposure to Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Rally, Coverity, SonarQube, or similar tools.
• Experience using approved AI-assisted software development tools.
