Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer role in KLA's Global Products Group, developing software for the LS-SWIFT patterned wafer inspection systems used in semiconductor manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Carry out software development activities using C#, Angular and C++.
• Debug software written in C#, Angular and C++.
• Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of inspector software.
• Participate in end-to-end product development lifecycle activities.
• Acquire knowledge of key use cases in defect inspection using LS and SWIFT tools.
• Collaborate with teams across different geographical zones to develop and deliver software solutions.
• Be flexible with work timings and attend technical discussions with business and peer teams across the globe.
• Work with team leads and groups including systems/hardware, marketing, applications and manufacturing on all aspects of software projects, including requirement definition, design, development, deployment, support and service.
• Understand and apply software development best practices.
• Travel to other KLA sites and customer sites as needed.

What you'll need

• BE/BTech with 2+ years of experience, or MS/MCA/MTech.
• Strong in programming fundamentals, .NET and C#/C++/Angular, with good software design exposure.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of SDLC and software engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to develop software with clean code and SOLID principles.

Nice to have

• Design skills.
