Software Engineer - .NET Developer

Overview

NCR Voyix is seeking a Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in .NET, C#, Kubernetes, and SQL Server to contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of enterprise-grade applications in a collaborative Agile environment.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of applications running in Kubernetes environments.
• Create, optimize, and maintain database objects, stored procedures, and queries in SQL Server.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA teams, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and software delivery improvements.
• Document technical designs, processes, and implementation details as required.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience working with SQL Server, including database development and query optimization.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design concepts.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go web frameworks (Gin, Echo, Fiber).
• Oracle performance tuning.
• Docker/Kubernetes.
• Azure or AWS.
• Observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics).
• Payment processing or financial transaction platform experience.
