Software Engineer 2

Overview

Software Engineer role on the Gurugram Products & Technology team, developing core parts of a new platform that makes it easier for customers to build AI applications using MongoDB.

What you'll do

• Write and test software in commonly used high-level programming languages such as Go, Python, Java and JavaScript, among others.
• Design, build and deliver well-tested core pieces of the platform in collaboration with other vested parties.
• Maintain a balance between delivering software and performing research and development.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to create end-user features that deliver quality software to clients.
• Take on challenging, high-visibility projects that improve the performance, scalability and reliability of the distributed systems infrastructure for the new product.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundation in computer science theory, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• 1–2 years of professional industry experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in one of the commonly used languages, including Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or comparable high-level programming languages.
• Experience writing and testing software, whether as part of an internship, a personal project, a coding competition, or research.
• Good verbal and written technical communication skills and a desire to collaborate with colleagues.
• Eager to learn, with a strong technical background.
