Software Engineer-2

Overview

Software Engineer-2 to design, code, test, and maintain Visa’s B2B Business Solutions products, collaborate with engineering/QA/ops, and support production issues.

What you'll do

• Design, code, test, and maintain Visa’s B2B Business Solutions applications.
• Implement enhancements and changes to the existing B2B codebase.
• Develop maintainable code that meets design specs, security, and Java/J2EE best practices.
• Collaborate with Development and QA teams on deliverables.
• Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• Work with operations on production issues.

What you'll need

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG).
• Familiarity with multithreading, concurrency, and Java memory management.
