Software Engineer, Agents Governance

Overview

Software Engineer for Agents Governance, building backend/infrastructure systems that help make enterprise AI agents safe, discoverable, reliable, and governable at scale.

What you'll do

• Own platform systems from design through reliable production operations.
• Build backend services and platform components with correctness and operational guarantees.
• Implement distributed-systems features including consistency, idempotency, retries, ordering, migrations, and safe rollout.
• Develop capabilities for agent publishing, sharing, moderation, policy enforcement, permissions, versioning, observability, and spend management.
• Partner with Product, Security, Infrastructure, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable enterprise capabilities.
• Make governance decisions auditable (policy application, access decisions, and run outcomes).
• Improve monitoring, alerting, debugging, incident response, and operational maturity; mentor engineers.

What you'll need

• 6+ years building production backend, infrastructure, or cloud-native systems.
• BA/BS in computer science or a related degree.
• Strong coding skills in Go, Python, Java, C++, or a similar language.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, storage, asynchronous workflows, or control planes.
• Strong instincts around identity, authorization, tenancy, policy enforcement, auditability, and sensitive data access.
• Ability to reason about failure modes, system boundaries, invariants, and operational tradeoffs.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
