Software Engineer - Android

Overview

Software Engineer (Android) responsible for developing, testing, and debugging the StockX Android app and shaping technical decisions for the Android experience.

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and debug the StockX Android app using Android Studio.
• Build integrations using GraphQL APIs and REST APIs connecting to backend services.
• Use Clean Architecture with MVVM and design patterns best practices.
• Build modern, scalable UI using Jetpack Compose.
• Complete initiatives end-to-end, including A/B testing.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering leaders to clarify requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Apply security, scalability, reliability, and performance considerations.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of Android development experience.
• Good understanding of the Android platform and common conventions.
• Experience with Kotlin, Android Studio, and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Ability to document new features, additions, and bug fixes clearly.
• Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into technical solutions.
