Software Engineer - Applied AI

Overview

Develop AI-powered solutions and integrations on DevRev’s core platform while working with customers and cross-functional teams. The role combines customer-facing work with hands-on technical implementation.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and launch AI agents, integrations, and automations.
• Connect SaaS and non-SaaS platforms through APIs, webhooks, and real-time architectures.
• Improve AI agent accuracy using prompt engineering, semantic search, and generative AI.
• Write SQL queries, analyze data, and build dashboards.
• Prototype solutions, run technical demos, and iterate from feedback.
• Guide customers through integrations and advanced configurations.
• Travel up to 30% for implementations, workshops, and customer engagements.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and Python skills.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and AI evaluations.
• Experience with data synchronization and REST, GraphQL, webhook, and event-driven integrations.
• Experience deploying on serverless or edge platforms with CI/CD, containers, and observability.
• Strong technical communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go.
• Customer-facing experience.
