Software Engineer - Market Data

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for the Market Data team, helping design and scale market data systems and services for streaming and historical endpoints.

What you'll do

• Design highly scalable, mission-critical market data provider services.
• Maintain good software quality and test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot incidents and reported bugs.
• Oversee public API structure and documentation for streaming and historical endpoints.
• Plan, ideate, experiment, and put new services and libraries into production.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of backend software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• POSIX-like operating systems and modern infrastructure/orchestration practices knowledge.
• BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience working with large datasets.
• Kubernetes experience (CKA or CKAD certification is a plus).
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with IP networking.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with shell scripting, Linux & Docker.
• Knowledge of microservice architectures and clean code principles.
