Software Engineer, Security Platform

Overview

Software Engineer for Coinbase’s Security Platform Engineering (SPE) team, building and scaling platform capabilities for security use cases.

What you'll do

• Architect and develop security platform capabilities for the SPE org.
• Provide technical structure to teams and help define strategic roadmaps.
• Build new services using Golang/Java for product and business needs.
• Design scalable systems using modern cloud technology and best practices.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and debug difficult technical problems.

What you'll need

• At least 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services.
• Ability to compose a service-oriented architecture.
• Strong system design and coding skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Generative AI used responsibly with human oversight.

• Pay transparency: annual base salary ₹4,408,400–₹4,408,400 INR.
