Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer on Cisco’s GTM IT/Engineering Excellence scope, driving delivery across CRM with Salesforce DevOps and AI-driven automation.

What you'll do

• Coordinate Salesforce release activities and end-to-end deployment planning.
• Support release activities and ensure change management adherence.
• Optimize Copado CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, including static analysis, automated testing, and environment management.
• Implement deployment standards such as redundant pipelines, rollback strategies, and governance controls.
• Define and document requirements, track progress in Jira, and manage configuration changes and communications for CI/CD initiatives.
• Build AI-driven DevOps solutions (co-pilots, autonomous agents, intelligent workflows, generative AI experiences) for release governance tasks.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with Copado or similar CI/CD tools for pipeline configuration and release management.
• 5+ years administering Salesforce platform solutions including Custom Objects, Workflow Rules, Custom Fields, Validation Rules, VisualForce, and Lightning.
• Familiarity with static code analysis using SonarQube, PMD, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with Salesforce data tools like Data Loader, Workbench, and Demand Tools.
• Experience creating and delivering documentation, training, and communications for feature/process changes.
