Lead Systems Operations Engineer

Overview

Lead Systems Operations Engineer role to drive and advise on complex systems operations initiatives. Work includes planning computer systems and network infrastructure and resolving escalated support issues.

What you'll do

• Lead complex initiatives and provide high-level systems consultation to technology teams.
• Participate in large-scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations.
• Review and analyze complex technical challenges and escalated support issues for core business solutions.
• Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements.
• Consult with engineering teams on change design aligned to technical process controls and standards.
• Collaborate with technical peers and managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Systems Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering (or related disciplines).
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications, test environments, and SDLC processes.
• Working knowledge of reliability engineering, observability, automation, incident management, operational support, and release management practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation (Infrastructure as Code).
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements without direct authority.
