What you'll need

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MS, MCA or similar education.
• Minimum 7 years of software experience with proven track records.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering, with an interest in learning new technologies.
• Adoption of smarter software development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor to develop quality software.
• Solid understanding of programming in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python.
• Experience with version management tools and Agile methodology.
• Proven records for accountability, ownership and mentorship.
• Skills and ability to lead and own sub-modules; lead by example to other team members.
• Creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Quality at Source mindset.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of operating systems and networking concepts.
• Exposure to device drivers and BSPs.
• Knowledge or prior experience with OTN products such as TXPonders, Mxponder and Line systems.
• Experience establishing and sustaining excellent relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to kernel programming, user space and system space.
• Prior knowledge of SONIC development.
