Software Engineer - C++ Middleware

Overview

Design, develop, test and maintain automotive software components, Middleware and infrastructure solutions, with a focus on embedded protocols and real-time performance.

What you'll do

• Implement platform software for Middleware and infrastructure.
• Contribute to design, architecture and reviews.
• Perform customer requirement analysis.
• Help ramp up new recruits on the technical front.
• Independently own and execute core Middleware and infrastructure modules.
• Design, develop and maintain Middleware and infrastructure solutions.
• Learn new technologies.
• Apply an innovative mindset to problems.
• Work independently and contribute to requirements reviews and analysis of customer change requests.

What you'll need

• B-Tech/BE.
• 3+ years' experience in embedded software.
• 3+ years of experience in Automotive and IVI systems.
• Expertise in C++ and C++11.
• Fluency in concepts of Design Patterns and Android Framework.
• Awareness of Android HAL AOSP architecture.
• Excellent debugging skills using GDB, JTAG etc.
• Fluency in reading and understanding hardware block diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with embedded application firmware development.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to requirements reviews and analysis of customer change requests.

Nice to have

• Exposure to JAVA.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India - Kalyani Platina.
• Work from Office environment with in-person collaboration.
• Most office-based roles are onsite five days a week.
