Software Engineer - Go, Java Dockers, Kubernetes, AWS

Overview

Join the Intersight development team at Cisco to help build and shape the cloud-based system management platform for Cisco UCS and other products, focused on compute, network and storage management.

What you'll do

• Design and implement software systems with a high emphasis on scalability and availability.
• Work within a fast-moving, start-up-like environment to deliver solid code with broad business impact.
• Solve unique and difficult technical problems with creative freedom.

What you'll need

• B.E. with 5+ years of experience or M.Tech. with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience designing and implementing software systems with high emphasis on scalability and availability.
• Experience working on SaaS enterprise software or cloud infrastructure with exposure to microservices architecture.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design.
• Fundamentally strong in data structures and algorithms.
• Expertise in programming languages like GoLang, Java or C/C++.
• Expertise in working with Dockers and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with AWS.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Broad knowledge of and exposure to system management software.
• System-level focus with an understanding of the impact of every component.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage competing high-priority tasks.
• Independent, accountable, with a strong sense of ownership, aggressive, communicative, sense of urgency, and flexible/adaptable.
• A passion for quality and for doing the right thing for customers, the product, and the company.
