Software Engineer I

Overview

Software Engineer I (Data) role at R1 RCM India focused on building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, and Python.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Build and manage data solutions using Snowflake and Databricks.
• Develop Python scripts for data processing and transformation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams on data requirements.
• Support data validation, testing, and performance optimization.

What you'll need

• 0–3 years of experience in software development or data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark concepts.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
