Team Lead, Field Engineer

Overview

Team Lead, Field Engineer (player-coach) guiding field engineers while executing the most complex, mission-critical technical work for client integrations, automations, and data solutions.

What you'll do

• Provide functional leadership and daily operational guidance to a team of field engineers while staying hands-on.
• Architect and deliver custom API integrations, automations, and data pipelines using Addepar tools.
• Coordinate work allocation across simultaneous client engagements and ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead issue resolution, proactively escalate blockers, and maintain alignment with client and internal stakeholders.
• Design and implement production-grade solutions for improved onboarding efficiency and operational scale.
• Write and review production-quality Python code for ETL pipelines, API integrations, validation frameworks, and automation tooling.
• Act as the technical owner for ADX implementations within Databricks platforms.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or forward-deployed technical experience.
• Advanced Python proficiency for production-grade applications, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication patterns, and integration architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large-scale relational and NoSQL datasets.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines for complex data transformations.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.

Details

• Location: Pune, India.
• Hybrid schedule: work from Pune office 3 days a week in UK shift (2:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST).
