Software Engineer I (Dot Net, FullStack, React) (3-5 years Experience Required)

Overview

You will build and enhance end-to-end digital solutions on the Palantir engineering portfolio at General Mills, working with teams to design, develop, test, and deliver scalable applications.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain applications using the .NET technology stack and modern web frameworks.
• Take ownership of complex technical designs and support implementation across features and services.
• Own critical production issues and drive timely resolution through troubleshooting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement new features and support system integration.
• Contribute to technical initiatives and improvements to development processes.
• Champion code quality via standards, peer reviews, testing, and maintainable design.
• Contribute to software design discussions, proofs of concept, tool evaluations, and knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• 3 or more years of related software engineering experience.
• Proven full stack application development experience.
• System-level knowledge using .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and APIs.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Next.js.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining scalable apps across layers.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server or NoSQL platforms.

Nice to have

• Degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with low-code platforms.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with .NET Blazor, GitHub Copilot, containers, Python, Next.js, or Tableau.
• Interest in evaluating new tools and building proofs of concept.
• Ability to mentor less experienced team members.
