Overview
Software Engineer role focused on C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core, contributing to technology initiatives involving software development, deployments, service quality, security, and compliance.
What you'll do
- Participate in low to moderately complex technology initiatives and projects, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality and availability within the technology domain environment.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document low to moderately complex technology projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments.
- Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges related to low to medium risk deliverables requiring research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains.
- Present recommendations for resolving issues or escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements.
- Exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of the technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements.
- Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a strong learning mindset and willingness to acquire new technical skills.
- Effectively collaborate with geographically distributed teams.
- Adhere to Wells Fargo risk management, compliance, and security standards.
- Participate in hybrid work arrangements as required by the organization.
- Support occasional production deployments or release activities when needed.
What you'll need
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Knowledge of C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
- Exposure to REST API and web application development.
- Familiarity with SQL-Server or other relational database technologies.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Angular or React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design principles.
- Exposure to Git source control and CI/CD concepts.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Internship, academic project, or hands-on experience developing full-stack applications.
