Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer L1 will provide innovative solutions to complex business problems and develop software users need. The role works independently with little supervision, across multiple facets of projects, while taking ownership of services and applications at scale.

What you'll do

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing development and service issues.
• Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Develop software users need.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and create new products.
• Grow engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting and hiring.
• Make informed decisions quickly and take ownership of services and applications at scale.

What you'll need

• 3- 5 years of experience as a software engineer and professional web development.
• .Net core, Microservices, C#, SQL, OOPS, Azure and Github knowledge.
• Knowledge of C#, ReactJS or JavaScript (ECMAScript 6 +).
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience of implementing SOLID/OOP concepts in software development.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience building complex web systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
• Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.

Nice to have

• Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems.
• Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
• Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Hybrid work model, with 2-3 days a week in the office depending on the role.
