Overview

Software Engineer I (Fullstack) for the Servicing International team, focused on purchase protection (disputes and refunds) and agent tooling.

What you'll do

• Work on tasks supporting the team’s projects and goals.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to surface risks and trade-offs.
• Balance delivery speed and quality while protecting systems from downtime.
• Participate in growth and development activities to support team community.
• Join an on-call rotation for this role.

What you'll need

• Prior work or internship experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Prior experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using Python or Kotlin.
• Ability to turn a simple problem or business scenario into a solution spanning multiple software components.
• Write clear, well tested, extensible code.
• Comfort navigating a large code base, debugging others’ code, and contributing via code reviews.
• Strong verbal and written communication for collaboration with a global engineering team.
