Software Engineer I - PEGA Developer

Overview

Software Engineer I (Pega Developer) to build and support enterprise-scale workflow solutions on the Pega platform for Deposits & Shared Services.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate software following the Enterprise SDLC.
• Enhance systems by evaluating and improving processes and applications.
• Construct modules and testing methods using programming specifications.
• Provide technical support to production systems and resolve reported issues.
• Prepare documentation including technical specifications and application designs.
• Establish technical standards and mentor development teams.
• Provide 24/7 support during on-call rotations for critical production issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in software application development and maintenance.
• Hands-on application development experience with Pega PRPC v6.x/v7.x and Pega banking/insurance frameworks (at least 3 years).
• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification.
• Hands-on experience with Pega AI, including GenAI, Knowledge Buddy, Agentic AI, and AI-powered workflow capabilities.
• Experience with Pega Infinity architecture, Case Management, Decisioning, and BPM.
• Skill integrating Pega with enterprise applications using REST APIs, Kafka, JMS, SOAP, and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, and EJB.
