Software Engineer II

Overview

Software Engineer II responsible for analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions.

What you'll do

• Own software delivery tasks across code development, testing, and deployment at the component level.
• Define requirements for new applications and customizations while following standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and refactor existing code.
• Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business stakeholders.
• Adopt new languages and architecture patterns needed for the work.
• Assist peers and less experienced team members, including technical documentation.

What you'll need

• Ability to write secure code in three or more languages (e.g., C/C++/C#/Java/JavaScript/COBOL/SQL).
• Familiarity with secure coding standards such as OWASP, CWE, and SEI CERT.
• Understanding of Gitflow branching and peer review practices.
• Experience using tools (e.g., Sonar, Zally, Checkmarx) to scan and measure code quality.
• Ability to build test code at unit, service, and integration levels.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation pipeline, virtualization, and containerization concepts.
