Software Engineer II - ADEX

Overview

Software Engineer II on the ADEX team owning impersonation-detection features end to end—from design and implementation through launch, operation, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate core product detection from rollout through monitoring and maintenance.
• Own detection projects end to end, including loosely scoped problems and delivery planning.
• Analyze attacks that get through by studying missed-attack data and underlying patterns.
• Write and tune detection logic using scored signals to minimize false positives.
• Build and evaluate LLM-based detection agents and measure precision/recall.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and resolve customer escalations.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with shipping/operating production systems.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, system design, testing, debugging, and clean code.
• Strong Python proficiency and ability to learn new languages/frameworks.
• Comfort with SQL and reasoning over large datasets to find signals.
• Data-analysis instincts and a detection/adversarial mindset.
• Demonstrated AI-native development fluency (e.g., using AI coding agents daily).
