Software Engineer II, AI Solutions & Platforms

Overview

Software Engineer II role focused on designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade AI and Generative AI solutions, including production-ready AI services and AI model integrations.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade Generative AI and backend applications.
• Build and maintain RAG and agentic AI workflows for ingestion, retrieval, and tool calling.
• Integrate LLMs using Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and OpenAI-compatible APIs.
• Design and develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs and backend services for reliability and observability.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and implement vector-search solutions with PostgreSQL/pgvector and Qdrant.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define requirements and deliver on agile/scrum commitments.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of combined experience in software engineering and developing AI solutions.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building scalable backend systems with Python and REST APIs.
• 3+ years of experience in agile/scrum development environments.
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing strategies.
• Experience building ETL/data pipelines using Pandas and NumPy.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs using Azure OpenAI or Anthropic Claude, or OpenAI-compatible APIs.
• Hands-on experience building RAG solutions using embeddings, retrieval, and vector search (PostgreSQL/pgvector or Qdrant).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with LangChain and LangGraph for agentic applications.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow), ML frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch), and model evaluation frameworks.
• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
