Software Engineer II

Overview

Senior Software Engineer supporting the design, development, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of engineering, manufacturing, and sales software tools used from unit design through manufacture.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and document software solutions.
• Maintain and enhance software systems and features.
• Support internal customers from design through manufacturing.
• Implement and test enhancements on a two-week sprint cadence.
• Communicate project status and application stability.
• Convert customer requirements into product specifications.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of programming experience in C#, Visual C++, or another high-level language.
• At least 4 years of experience with business process automation.
• At least 2 years of experience with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, or Revit.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2022, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of client/server, multi-tier, object-oriented, schema, connectivity, and GUI design.
• Strong communication, organizational, mathematical, or engineering skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, WPF, WCF, Azure DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server, and T-SQL.
