Software Engineer - Intermediate

Overview

Software Engineer - Intermediate responsible for developing, testing, deploying, and operating scalable applications across backend and UI layers.

What you'll do

• Perform application development, unit testing, code deployment, and technical documentation.
• Develop and operate applications across backend and UI layers.
• Diagnose and resolve performance and system issues.
• Apply software practices including microservices, CI/CD, serverless computing, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Integrate systems with internal systems, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset.
• Lead Sprint deliverables and contribute to architecture and technology roadmap discussions.
• Debug and resolve product or system issues affecting network, service operations, or quality.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with software design and Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• 2+ years of experience with Maven or Gradle.
• 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and frontend/web development.
• 2+ years of experience with software testing, performance, and quality engineering.
• 2+ years of experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, Bootstrap, SpringBoot, SOA, and microservices.
• Experience with Git or SVN, relational databases, Agile environments, and Atlassian tooling.
• Experience with JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, or SoapUI.
